Saunas

Choose a sauna your home can support

Compare a blanket, indoor cabin, and outdoor sauna before comparing brands.

Choose the form factor first

A blanket is worth investigating when storage matters and one person will use it at a time. A cabin deserves consideration when you have a permanent location and want seated space. An outdoor model needs its own site, weather, and delivery assessment. These are different ownership experiences, not interchangeable ways to buy the same thing.

Get the electrical quote first

Use the current manual for the exact model and revision. Give it to a licensed electrician before paying a deposit. Sun Home publishes different dedicated-circuit requirements across its range; a shared voltage does not mean two models use the same plug or circuit.

Plan the full delivery path

Measure gates, doors, turns, ceiling clearance, and the assembly area. Confirm whether your quote includes curbside delivery, room placement, unpacking, or assembly. Ask who handles damage discovered when the crate is opened.

Our buying rule

Shortlist by fit, installation, support, and total cost. Request a written quote including delivery and optional accessories. Treat medical benefit claims as separate questions for a qualified clinician, rather than a reason to stretch your budget.

Check your ownership budget

Use your actual quotes and expected costs to compare the first year with ongoing ownership.

Explore a relevant merchant

Explore sauna and cold-plunge models, then request the exact manual and an installed-cost quote. Inclusion is an editorial starting point, not a best-product award.

Sources and verification

Health and installation

Consult a qualified clinician before using heat or cold exposure, especially if you have a medical condition. Cold immersion can affect heart rhythm and blood pressure; evidence for broad health benefits remains limited. See Harvard Health’s discussion of cold-water risks. Follow the product manual and use qualified installation professionals.
